ALICE SPRINGS MASTERS GAMES

13-19 October 2012

 

The 2012 Alice Springs Masters Games were held last week!

With 33 sports on offer, MSA was excited as 190 Masters members dived into the Swimming events. Swimming competitors took part in a program that allowed new records to be set, as there were some inaugural events.

There were some great stories to come out of Alice Springs! A couple of these great stories include Bill Walker, from NSW club Novocastrian, who was the second eldest and won 4 Gold Medals in the first four days and Peter Blaxland, member of MSQ club Aqualicious, who set the record in the 50m Backstroke!
